Printer: Jacobo Cromberger. Seville, 1519. Size: Folio. 76 leaves (152 pages). Tables and diagrams, beautiful title page, engraved initials.

A beautiful post-incunabulum from Seville in Gothic script with elaborate woodcut initial letters, tables and diagrams and a title page typical of the printing works of the eldest of the Crombergers. This book is reminiscent of the fine work of Meinardo Ungut - a rototypographer working in Granada with Juan Pegnitzer - and Estanislao Polono - the prototypographer from Alcalá de Henares, whose woodcuts and type materials were used by Jacobo Cromberger.

The book is dedicated to Prince Charles, the emperor to be, and the fine detail of the title is an indication of the richness of this work, making further praise redundant.
