An essay which at the same time as it advises on remedies and formulas for combatting the plague, gives culinary and gastronomic advice on wine, meat, fish and vegetables, sauces and other condiments. It also refers to resting, the siesta and the evening. According to Professor Enrique Llobregat, of exceptional significance are the handwritten notes which appear in the copy reproduced, surely made by Alcanyís himself.
