FIRST CORRIDOR TYPOGRAPHY PRESSES

This beautiful arched room is dedicated to the earliest printing press from the 15th century. Visitors can see what elements were used in these early workshops.

Without a doubt, the star feature in the room is this replica of the Gutenberg printing press, which was used to print the Gutenberg Bible or the 42-line Bible.

The Gutenberg press is operational and used on special occasions or for experimental research.
